An exotic dancer who worked for PT Mens Club,  a gentlemen’s club in Dallas, filed a federal lawsuit challenging the company’s practice of classifying its exotic dancers as independent contractors. The lawsuit alleges that as a result of PT Mens Club misclassifying its exotic dancers as independent contractors, PT Mens Club avoided its obligations to pay proper wages in accordance with federal law.

The lawsuit seeks to include all current and former exotic dancers who sign a consent form to opt-in and join the lawsuit.
