An exotic dancer working for Bucks Wild, which operates a string of gentlemen’s clubs in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston, filed a federal lawsuit challenging the company’s practice of classifying its exotic dancers as independent contractors. The lawsuit alleges that as a result of Bucks Wild misclassifying its exotic dancers as independent contractors Bucks Wild failed to pay its dancers proper wages and failed to properly allocate their tips, in accordance with federal wage laws.

The lawsuit seeks to include all current and former exotic dancers who sign a consent form to opt-in and join the lawsuit.
