Carley S. Amyx graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising. In May 2015, she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M School of Law.
During law school Ms. Amyx served as the CEO of the Alternative Dispute Resolution division of the Board of Advocates and due to her participation in Mock Trial, Moot Court, and Client Counseling competitions, During her third year of law school, Ms. Amyx was recognized with the highest award of Preeminent Advocate.
Ms. Amyx also served as intern for the Honorable Judge Wallace of the 96th District Court in Tarrant County, The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the criminal division for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, and the prosecution division in the Arlington City Attorney’s office. After law school, Ms. Amyx worked for a large Federal RICO law firm in Fort Worth, Texas before joining Herrmann Law in February of 2017.
